1. Do you have certain times of the day when you have to have things done? Does your day run on a timetable? Or are you more of a laissez-faire kind of person?
I lead a somewhat structured life, but it is not too rigid. Occasionally I shake-up my routine on purpose. ![]()
2. What one word describes you on a good day? What about on a bad day? What one word would your best friend use to describe you? What one word would your significant other use to describe you?
On a good day I am magnificent!!! On a bad one I tend to be sucky. Hopefully my best friend would use the word reliable (because I want her to know I can be relied on) and my significant other would describe me as passionate...I just asked him. ![]()
3. Your blog is being made into a television show. What kind of show will it be? Sit-com? Drama? How long is it? Hour? Half-hour? Sunday night movie? And most importantly, who are your show’s sponsors?
A weekly shopping show of course! My sponsors would be fabulous companies that are cutting edge in eco-friendly technologies. ![]()
4. What is your favorite perfume or cologne? How often do you wear perfume or cologne? Has anyone ever told you smelled good/bad? If so, how did that make you feel? Flattered? Self-conscious? Uncomfortable?
I'm not really the perfume type, but I do like vanilla, and rose scents on occasion. I have never been told I'm stinky at least not since grade school, and that is a good thing! And of course I would feel bad if someone told me I smelled bad who wouldn't feel bad about something like that. ![]()

From a Canadian perspective the $700bn bail-out plan aimed at rescuing the US financial system is a very good thing. Here in Ontario it will help to stave off a possible recession due to a slump in our manufacturing sector.
However, I do question how good this will be for the average American taxpayer in the long run? I am no expert, but I do wonder if this bail out will serve as a strong lesson for consumers who spend far beyond their own means, and the credit institutions that have allowed for this situation to happen in the first place. Or not...
Here is what it looks like in a simple graph:

What do you think? It surely will save jobs, but how fair is this to those who did not get sucked up into spending beyond their means.

A few years back I went on an odyssey to find the most perfect roti here in Toronto....and I found it! The best roti in my opinion here, and possibly everywhere is in Parkdale at Bacchus Roti Shop.

Last weekend I made the trek to 1376 Queen Street West in order to indulge my roti craving.

Not only do they make outstanding Roti to dine in or take-out....

....they also have great jerk chicken, curry goat, rice' n' peas, coleslaw, soup including ginger chicken, and so much more. They are licensed, but my own personal choice of beverage is ginger beer. ![]()

I am not the only one to absolutely love this restaurant. Over the years they have had many, many excellent reviews.

While I do not get out to Bacchus Roti as much as I would like to I am a very happy repeat customer. ![]()

Here in Canada they have set up a do-not-call list where people can register their telephone numbers in order to opt out of telemarketing, and/or market research calls. The website to register was launched yesterday, and crashed within hours due to high volume traffic. The phone line for registry is jammed, and my friend reports was a two hour wait to get on the list via that route.
I guess we Canadians do NOT wish to be called about products, and services. Ya think?! ![]()

My daughter wanted to dye her hair blue...but this is a bit ridiculous!
I have no idea why these sheep were dyed blue???
Please note that I do try to make sure that I visit the site's (if given) of everyone who comments here as the "you comment

1. How do you define happiness?
Lately, a day where I am not feeling the symptoms of the Graves Disease too much. Over all I would say when my loved ones are happy, then I too am happy. ![]()
2. What did you have for breakfast? (If not this morning, tell us what you had the last time you had breakfast).
A banana
3. On a scale of one to ten, how sick are you of the presidential campaign? Do you talk about politics on your blog? What about in real life? Why or why not?
I am Canadian and therefore pay little attention to it. I do care about our own elections, but I already know who has my vote so do not discuss it too much. This blog is a political free zone! Yah! ![]()
4. What about your life today would surprise your teen-aged self?
How little in many ways I've changed. Meaning I'm still not certain I know what I want to be when I grow up, and I certainly do not have all the answers that I thought I had back then.

Since being diagnosed last winter with a thyroid condition I have gained a few pounds, which I hope to lose once treatment is finished, and my body's chemistry is under control again. Fingers crossed. ![]()
With the cold weather fast approaching I realised that my winter coat, and jacket were both fitting a little too tightly for comfort. Not wanting to spend a lot of cash on a larger sized garment that I hope to only need for the one season I did some vintage shopping around the city, and picked up a very cool, black, wool coat for $10.00 bux! Once it is dry-cleaned I'll have a great looking coat at a fraction of the cost of something similar.
I'll try to post some pix later in the week. ![]()
